Project Update

Not dead, but we're on hiatus. Should have made an update on it earlier but oh well. A bunch of things behind the scenes fell through and I just don't have time to do everything myself right now.

Project Update

Man, May got here fast. The second preview release will be delayed by a week or two on account of my job giving me a fair bit of extra work this past week and weekend.

Protomech Design Contest Winner

We finished up the voting on the Snow Raven Protomech contest last night, and now...the winners! 3rd place goes to the Stymphalian, by some crazy Capellan playing assho- wait that's 3A. The idea of a flying AECM was apparently well received. 2nd place goes to the Imp, by Ben L. Putting a iHML into someone's rear at high speed was fun, even if I had to go ahead with posting what the TRO team liked best out of the pile of variants sent in (sorry Ben, we got your email response after we had gotten most of the votes). 1st place, and the TRO entry, goes to... The Spitfire, by Not Entirely Anon! Because flying technically not warcrimes are fun! And where else are you going to find a protomech tossing bombs like they're footballs?!

Design Contest: Protomech Edition!

It's time for another design contest, and we're being a bit more organized about it this time. To vote, just follow the link below. Note that you will need to be signed in to google to prevent duplicate voting. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSca8b8SIRQiQCO1L2nCAcS_-wZf9DkqQxKDVMb9z9Gg9GwOhw/viewform?usp=sf_link The final score of each design will be a combined average of two polls: the public one above, and an internal poll among the TRO crew. 2/3rds of the score will be the result of the public poll, while the last third is the result of the internal poll. Note that in the case of designs by the TRO crew, the public vote will be 100% of the score unless the TRO crew score is lower than the public score (in which case it's the normal split). That means we can only hurt our own designs' scores, not help them. The winner, barring some weird stuff like the designer withdrawing the design because they don't like winning, will be put into the TRO. The polls will close in one week!

Recruiting

Looking for some writers to help with unit entries. Working on those is the most time consuming part of this, so if I can get some other people on board for it other things can get moved along faster. Email me if you want to get on board.

Project Update

The post-Christmas project hangover is real. Looot of traveling. Nevertheless, we march on. Order of business for the next little while is upgrading the way the stat sheets are handled in layout.
